Rae Fawcett Simulation Centre

Overview

The Rae Fawcett Simulation Centre is located at Royal Inland Hospital in the Clinical Services Building (CSB) on Level I and officially opened on December 12, 2016. The Centre is a large open space concept with two purpose-built simulation areas, a control room and a debriefing area. The centre currently owns four high fidelity human patient simulators: Laerdal’s SimMan3G and SimJunior, Gaumard’s Birthing simulator Victoria® and neonate SuperTory. The Centre also has medium and low fidelity simulators, a portable ultrasound machine as well as various task trainers.

Our Facility

Located on the first floor of the Clinical Services Building (CSB) at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, the space contains two large simulation rooms and one observation/control room.  UBC Faculty of Medicine also has across the hallway.
