Lisa Ewart
Clinical Practice Consultant Simulation Regional Lead
Lisa is responsible for supporting and creating awareness of simulation across Fraser Health. Lisa provides educational consultation, and assists with the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of simulation across the region. Lisa has a passion for teaching and has been involved with simulation at Fraser Health since 2004.
Zoe Schuler

Zoe joined the Simulation team in Fraserhealth September of 2020. Her background is Emergency nursing since 1998, and then the ER CNE for 7 years before moving into the world of Simulation! She is excited for this new journey
Dr. Wesley Jang
Physician
Dr. Wesley Jang is a consultant in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine. His training occurred at the University of British Columbia where he also completed a sub-specialty fellowship in simulation education at the Center of Excellence in Simulation and Innovation Education. He currently serves as the Fraser Health Regional Simulation Medical Lead and a Lead Educator for the BCEHS Critical Care Paramedic Training Program.
Juanita Renton
simulation OPS specialist
Juanita joined the simulation team in November 2020. Juanita comes with previous simulation experience from Douglas College where she worked there for 2 years prior to moving over to Fraser Health. Juanita also has 20 years of clinical experience in the veterinary field. Juanita also enjoys teaching and has taught in the Veterinary Department at Douglas College for 11 years. Juanita is based out of Abbotsford Regional Hospital where she is responsible for the day to day operations and maintenance of the simulation lab there. Juanita and Shaun split up all the hospitals in the Fraser Health region supporting them with their equipment needs. They also support simulations with the CNE at these sites as well.
Shaun Rosario
SIMULATION OPS SPECIALIST
Shaun supports the sustainable operations of clinical simulation resources across the region. Provides advice and support to Sim staff and coordinates daily activites. Shaun has been with the Fraser Health simulation program since 2019.
Ashlee Verrault
simulation educator
Ashlee joined the sim team in March 2021. After completing a practicum with the sim team and practicing in critical care, accepting the position of CNE for simulation at Abbotsford Regional Hospital has been a great fit. Ashlee supports ARH and the regional team in the assessment, implementation and evaluation of educational and process sim.
Breanne Lick

Breanne has joined the team in July 2023. She is responsible for supporting Abbotsford Regional Hospital.
Kamal Rishi
simulation educator
Kamal is responsible for supporting South Fraser Region for simulation activities. South Region include Langley Hospital and Peace Arch Hospital. Kamal is also responsible for partially supporting Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Center and in-house program as needed. Kamal work closely with site CNEs to plan, implement simulation activities for the South region. Kamal has a passion for teaching and has been teaching since 2016 at various educational institutions. Kamal joined Sim team in September 2020.
Caite
simulation educator
Caite joined the simulation team in July of 2022. Caite’s work experience includes Emergency Nursing, Medical Imaging, and Clinical Practicum Instructor for nursing programs – she is very passionate about education and mentorship! Caite is responsible for supporting simulation activities at all sites included in the Fraser North Region.
Donya
SIMULATION OPS SPECIALIST
Donya assists with in-house and interprofessional simulations across Fraser North and South regions. She actively works towards creating a fully immersive experience in healthcare simulation. Donya proudly supports experiential learning and advanced medical training. Her passion is to incorporate Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality training to help evolve the safety and quality of healthcare in the province.
