Our Simulation Centre services 4 years of BSN students (72 intake/year), ~100 LPN students (both the Nanaimo and Cowichan campuses combined) and ~ 20 HCA students. Sim is fully integrated into the lab courses for year II and year III BSN and year II LPN and as part of orientation to the practicum experiences for the year III and year IV BSN students. During the fall term, we have approximately 90 students participating in simulations over 4 days/week.
